Description: | I'm expecting "Oh look another terrible map edit." http://www.igmod.org 209.222.93.84:27015 Original map by 'ThePro' Edited version of rp_downtown_v2_fiend Custom tile texture by TopHatWaffle This map was made first to attempt to improve the FPS rating, but I got carried away and started adding stuff. Updates & Changes: -Heavy Optimization (No draw enhancements, area portals, hint/skips, occluders, building groupings) -Increased the amount of spawn points -Props inside the spawn are now deleted -Props inside the 5 trash bins near the spawn are now deleted -Added an ass ton of light sprites (Left some out due to glitches (see thru walls)) -Added auto door lock to the PD's major entrances and exits -Added Prop Clip areas to teleport players back to spawn -Added some clips to restricted areas that were missing them -Added some clips to help players walk fluently -Added/updated usable second story apartment near souvenir store -Added/updated 2 usable wooden doors/windows behind souvenirs building -Added/updated usable electric transformer area -Added/updated building to have lighting in the staircases -Added usable maintainence thingy by spawn -Added usable train garage connected to adjacent building -Added usable vehicle garage -Added usable apartment zone -Added usable panic room esque area in mayor PD office -Added usable subway maintenance thing -Added foot sensor thing by spawn store -Added some lights to a few buildings -Added a light by the back alley green window thing -Added an extra pole mount by the electric transformer thing -Added more usable badly hidden crouch tunnels and such -Added player clip to areas that should be steps -Added Storefront templates to foto store -Added a water lod control to the map -Updated the light_env to have an early morning feel -Updated spawn point to not have players spawn in walls -Updated the 3d skybox -Updated sewer water height -Updated some lighting origins -Updated spawn tunnel's lights to be on -Updated the spots of a few lights to look more natural -Updated a building to have lights on by default instead of being toggable -Updated clip around spawm water foutain to be cylindrical -Updated the lightmap scale of the map -Updated all refridgerators to be more elborate -Updated some ladders to look a little bit nicer -Updated a mirror to actually act like a mirror -Updated a stair case to be slanted underneath next to souvenir store -Updated several doors that should have started locked -Updated all existing ladders to the hl2 based ladders -Updated the size of a few buttons -Updated trap doors to open when close enough on ladders -Updated the location of a few static props -Updated rotational symmetry of a miniscule amount of props -Updated several roof tops -Removed auto door lock from back pawnshop room (Not front door) -Removed some props in subway to allow more prop construction freedom -Removed train garage store doors being linked on open and close -Removed some decals that looked like shit in subway -Removed several clips from roofs and odd places -Removed displaced grass near pawn shop -Removed truck from highway thingy -Removed advertisement board world brush Fixes: -Several overlaying and un-aligned textures -Several light bulbs floating off from thier ceilings -Applied texture to a visible no drawn surface on a door -Geometry in 9 areas of the map (Floating Beams |
