| Description: | Another 5 second SWEP release from me, guys.The RS8 was created in response for the Special Forces' need of a weapon able to be silenced, but still maintain a fair amount of stopping power and be a handgun.It features a fourteen round magazine, which can be 'necked' by reloading with a bullet in the chamber, and a grip sturdy enough for it to be used as a melee weapon when needed with no harm to the gun.While the RS8's stopping power pales in comparison to more burly handguns such as the D49 revolver , it is far easier to obtain and service, as well as still being in service.As with all firearms, treat it as always loaded and never point at another person. It uses the USP world model.View model is hexed, and the model ( not the materials ) is sent to the client along with a few sounds.Place into addonsThe sounds for the silencer attach/detach - I'd have to replace the base sound or recompile the model, neither of which are cool.The club 'animation' doesn't look very good - I had to keep the hand out of the picture because that looked worse.I have tested this in both SP and on my Listen Server and don't have have any known errors / bugs. |
