Extract it to program files and add it to your steam account as a non-steam game. That should fix it.

Yea you gotta use CFToolbox or something. I don't use cracked steam much. I prefer retail over steam.

Valve released a patch for it so someone with cafe needs to post the update for it. As for the cracked steam I've noticed that you need to have Steam running for it to work. Doesn't matter if its cracked or not, I just have my real steam on in the background. Also if that still doesn't work...

No it lets you host a server that other people with cracked and legit copies of the game join you. You can join other cracked servers without it. The patch is only for hosting a server.
