Help needed with undead patch.

After patching steam i only got as far as the connecting to steam account and then the steam process (Steam.exe) just ends.. it doesn't even connect to steam..

any idea why this is happening? i've disabled my virus scanner and firewall as well.

Weird, make sure you are using the latest version of steam, and the latest undead patch release.

i am using the newest version of steam and undead patch (3.33)

EDIT : got this prob fixed

ok new problem... when i try to download a game (name CS) i get the following message:

The Steam servers are currently too busy to handle your request.
Please try again in a few minutes.

what do i do about this?

mate i get the same problem with most of the game on there i anit got i clue wot to do and i need help!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't fix the problem, it's the problem with cracked steam, just get the GCF/NCF, or request it.

^^ Echo419 explained it. Get the gcf/ncf files for the specified games.

also if you're using kaspersky 7 make sure to exit it or remove it

Kaspersky has nothing to do with the ownage error.

Kaspersky is sometimes way too good. It blocked the comm between me pc and my external HDD... good thing there is a exeptions list

it does but only Kaspersky 7.. I was using KIS 7 at the time i had the error but now that i removed it works fine

Kaspersky does do more than it should even it's not running it has the quiet process which blocks potentially harmful stuff

That's the process that protects itself from being killed. I'm surprised that it's the only one that stops it's service being stopped.
