Hey i was wondering where to find free games for steam

like half life dods half life2 l4d etc etc so it can be on my games list

but i seem not to find them here on the forums

You sure aren't looking very hard if you can't find the games. Try using our Search to find whatever games you want.
And just in case you don't know, the games you find and download here can only be played on cracked steam servers and a cracked/patched steam client.
