Help with making TF2 faster with crap graphics card

    Hi all

    I am having problems with TF2 the fps is so slow! i have one solution though but i am not sure if it works check it out, you change the autoexec.cfg commands.

    like this:

    is there any other ideas just like the one above? please post because this could be very useful! Please post others like the one above!

    Also please do not say "buy a new graphics card"

    Overclock you current graphics card tbh.

    i have found the solution! mat_max_worldmesh_vertices 1024 i pasted that in the autoexec.cfg along with the script above.

    There are many CVAR, the one above increases the FPS so you will have no lag but it makes game quality a bit shitter and also i am not using that no more! i just use:

    mat_max_worldmesh_vertices 1024
    mat_bumpmap 0 +mat_picmip 2

    i don't have one lol! intergrated! For The Shitty WIN, i have 4 ATI 3870's i and i can't be bothered to put em in.

    This can now be used with day of defeat source since is has and ep1 source engine like TF2.
