im on my laptop right now. yesterday i wanted to play dod:source but i needed to update my crappy nvidea gforce 5200 =/ so i got the driver update installed restarted and now my display is fucked up. my comp has a fucked up version of windows (bootleg) so my restore doesnt work.... can any1 help me?

you can lock this. from pure luck i found a way to fix it

First boot into LastKnownGood config, if you can't
boot into Safe Mode and go to device manager roll back driver, if you can't
recovery console and disable the driver there or try boot VGA mode (for anyone with similar problems).
