I'm getting a fatal Error

Hello,every time I try to run Steam I get an error which says:
Fatal Error: Failed to load Platform Modules.
This happens when it's about to connect.
Help is appreciated.

I have no idea what so ever. However a google search did tell me a lot.

Exit Steam and delete everything under the Steam installation directory except Steam.exe and the \SteamApps folder - this will force Steam to update when you log in

I read your instruction...It didin't work however.
I uninistalled and installed and then it worked.
So, problem solved.
