just want to play valve games

ok im new here and i love your site first of all iy is AMAZING i am so glad i found a place where i can get my half-life and other valve games addiction going lol

but in all serious ness what client or cracker should i use to best run valve games.

yes im a massive noob at this
ps do i create folders to put .cfg in or do i put them staight into the sitemap folder

ive always favoured steamup as it doesnt require you to patch steam and is much simpler to use. Just extract into steam directory and run the launcher.exe

Second question confuses me but game files go in steamapps folder
