Just out of curiosity. Does anyone else have it where when they download an NCF game, the sound is much quieter than most games? I have no problem with it honestly, just found it a bit odd. For example, on my machine, games Prototype and FEAR 2 have fairly quiet sound, but when I play any Source game it's much much louder. Anyone else get this?

Nope.
But my headphones tend to make things louder then they should be.

i know exactly what you mean... ive experienced the same thing and was like huh? is it meant to be like that? my guess is that the sound varies from game to game or developer to developer

Yea your probably right. I usually play with headphones anyway though so it doesn't really matter to me. I just found it odd when Half-Life 2 was loud enough to hear from downstairs off my laptop's built-in speakers, yet when I'm sitting at the desk I can barely hear Prototype. Headphones: The greatest thing ever
