It wont work because AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition it's on AM3 socket and EVGA X58 Classified it's on LGA1366.

Some good AM3 mobos are ASUS M4A79T Deluxe and MSI 790FX-GD70,but i recommend you to buy an Intel Core i7 because it will fit perfectly with EVGA X58 Classified

it still works right now but i will be buying a intel i7 next week becuse this cpu is out of my other computer witch had a little run in with pepsi brothers are retards

Nice build! But i have a question. Isn't the PSU a little too much for you? Well, my brothers desktop, which i used until i got my laptop has these specs:

4GB DDR3 1600MHZ Ram
Asus P7P55D Mobo
Intel Core i5-750 Clocked to 4GHZ
MSI Geforce GTX 260 Clocked Edition 896MB.
It also has Silverstone raven case (3 180MM fans at bottom).
Also has a western digital 320GB 7200RPM HDD.
And the CPU cooler is Noctua NH-D14.

.

This all is supplied by a 650 watt power supply and everything is working even on the overvoltage clocks.
So i guess 1200W psu is abit much, but i really don't know, because your HDD is bigger, you have more RAM and a better GPU.

you don't need 32 gigs anyways. even 24 is much. You can do all you need with 4 gigs, what you need is a very very fast HDD (10K RPM probably) and CPU. If you plan gaming, then a good GPU is good tho.
