I have left 4 dead and i was wondering if there was a way to extract the .ncf files. i tried GCFScape but it says that some of the files have no data. i was wondering if there is a way to play left 4 dead without using steam.

O and how do you get past the "unable to load authentication library. Exiting..." error? the was a few that said change -applaunch 220 to -applaunch 215, but i have things like -gameid 145787885456. Is there a way to fix this error
