Tutorial:
1. Download All the Links above
2. Browse to C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps
3. Place all the .GCF's into that folder.
4. Download CF Toolbox
5. Download UnDead Patch
6. Put in the Undead.exe into C:\Program Files\Steam
7. run Undead.exe and when it asks if you want to allow steam to update press Y
8. now make sure STeam (the program not the folder) is not running. ( I recommend using a brand new BLANK account)
8.5 PICTURE IS BELOW!
9. Run CF Toolbox which should now be installed. Go to the "Prefrences" tab Shown in Number 2 and fill in your username and password. (this allows CF TOOLBox to connect to STeam servers to update)
10. Once Done browse to Game/Media/Tool Tab shown in picture 3 and Right Click on the Game you wish to update. it should read XX.XX% to 100.00%. RIght click on it and go to download and Resume. This will check with the Valve Servers to make sure you are uptodate and have everything.
11.Once Done you should see the Game as 100.00% that means your good to go!
12. Close CF Toolbox and Start up steam, Log into your account and look at the Games Tab, it should show The Chosen Game as 100 and Ready to Play!
13. Have Fun!!!

Hi all,
When i run UnDeadPatch.exe, i get a "Runtime Error 32 at 004061C6" Errormessage.. :confused:

EDIT: Problem solved by closing Steam^^

Can anyone help me out? The CFToolBox is being gay. when ever I put my steam login info in but it keeps saying wrong password. I even tried making a new account and still doesn't work.

Buy a new computer. I used to have an intel 950GMA and it is honestly the worst graphics chip out on the market next to the 945 express family chipset.

You need the ones highlighted there plus the 'portal' GCFs there. So you need the Source and the 2007 GCFs, plus the Portal ones.

Here are the torrents. You need the following:
The game it self: Portal-Unleashed
The fix for the game: Portal FIX-Unleashed

How to make game work:

Code:

1. extract to a new folder with winrar
2. open up the folder, then open up the portal folder in there
3. put the file from the fix in this directory, replacing the old one
4. right click on hl2.exe and click create shortcut
5. right click on the new shortcut and select properties
6. add '-steam -game portal' without the 's after the "s end in the target box
7. hit ok and play!

when i try to log into CF Toolbox by entering my username and pass, it gives me an error saying "No authentication server available. Automatically Retry?" what can i do to make this error go away because retrying doesnt do anything except crash the program

Just download the torrent I gave you. It doesn't need steam. Its a standalone. Just follow the instructions I put and it will work.

Rapidshare really pisses me off. There is a tim limit for non premium accounts and you have a upload limit. Try another file hosting website for once. Just stop this mindless violence!

Lol, anyway he's right, rapidshare sucked since it was first made! and so does torrent, the fastest speed i got was 1 mb/s, and i've got a good internet connection, cuz i down at 8 mb/s on any other website!

Well Torrents are bad....GCFs are better...cuz you get auto updates with steam...then you can have more mods like HL2 wars...then you get content to gmod

I have a problem: I've downloaded all the needed files for Ep2, and I copied them into the steam/steamapps lib.Yes, I have UDP, no backup steam.dll and updating. When I would start the download( because it stucks at89%) it only writes starting download... and then nothing happens. What would I do? I used CF toolbox but it wont download it, only checks the files
