Possible way to play Gmod off of cracked Steam?

    i need a way to play Gmod from Cracked Steam, When try to It says i dont own the game (stupid Steam, makes it impossible to hack) and i was wonder if there is a way to play online or if there is a cracked server i can play on or if someone can make a Cracked server

    well i knew that, but when i click on it nothing happens? i put it in the STEAM root folder right?

    all it says is place it in the steam folder

    no you place maseterserver.vdf into steam\configs and overwrite the existing one

    when i download it, i dont get Masterserver.vdf only the 2 setiserver.exe things, i dont even have a Masterserver.vdf in my steam........
    EDIT: God im dumb, sorry i figured it out

    i still dont get it? i only got 2 settiserver.exe things too! can someone help?

    read this very carefully.

    1. Copy MasterServers.vdf to config\ directory
    * Standalone: C:\games\Counter-Strike Source\platform\config\MasterServers.vdf OR
    * Steam: C:\Program Files\Steam\config\MasterServers.vdf
    2. Make MasterServers.vdf read-only
    * Right-click over MasterServers.vdf, select "Properties" and check "Read-only"
