Prevent steam updates?

I dunno if this is the right place to post this, i did not come up with the idea, i only found it from a friend.

anyways here

"Make a new file called steam.cfg inside steams directory and paste the line "BootStrapperInhibitAll=enable" into it without quotes. Save that and that will make sure that steam does not update and destroy your precious work. Also, by now winrar should be on your computer, just rar up the legit steam.dll so if there are any mistakes you have somewhere to start again."

Is that of any help?

The coders already know about this, it was in a post for a staff application or something, anyways without that there wouldn't be any cracks if not very little.

Did you find this at the "Create your own cracked Steam" tutorial in the developers sections at cs.rin.ru? I think so!
