After all those rumor of me of getting a new comp, it's finally coming through.

Going to buy the parts when my holiday starts.

Here are the specs.

Corsair 2GB(2*1GB) TWIN2X2048-6400 DDR2 800MHZ CL5 DIMM 240-pin
Logitech® X-540 5.1 Speaker System with Matrix Mode

Albatron NVidia Geforce 8800GT 512MB DDR3 PCIE VGA Card

It's gonna cost me about NZD2,400. That's about 1,900 USD.
That motherboard is so darn expensive and those keyboard and mouse are under 100 bucks each.
Once purchased, I will have to wait for 5 more years before I get a new one, who knows what else could be out in the future.

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20 GHZ, 3.21 GHZ,
1.00 GB RAM.
Nvidia geforce 7600, DX9
Windows XP
2 Hard Drives each 60 GB in size, though with all the crap i download its like 40 gb each lol....

My current computer with a 80gb hard drive runs on 95% full capacity.
New media gets downloaded from the net and watched shows/movies have to be dumped to the recycle bin. It will eventually run out of space because I download music albums as well. Hopefully the 500gb SATA drive will help me out.

You guys spend so much money on your PCs..

I have a AMD 3800+ X2 2.55ghz with a 90pm process. My memory runs at 231mhz, when I benchmark it, the program gives me a :( literally.

And I can STILL play most 2009 and lower games at max everything (granted the 9800gtx+ takes care of this). You people with the I7's I ask, what the hell are you doing that needs that much power? Are you all graphics designers that have to render shit constantly?

You're right, I am jealous.

Edit: New budget pc, Amd 250x2 Regor AM3, DDR3 1333 G.Skill

I overclocked this proc since it was stock 3ghz x2 for $76. Look how cold it runs with a vcore over voltage and and a 600mhz oc!

Full load it maxes out at 30c on just air cooling.

Other shit:

New pc posted above :). Anyone have tips on how to get my fsb higher than 240mhz? My multiplier is locked but the other components can go higher.
