Sata Device With/ IDE ports

Alright, I heard sata was a better drive so i bought a nice cheat SATA 160 GB, but I didn't stop to think that I don't have any sata ports at all in my computer.

So, I was wondering is there any way possible to use a SATA HardDrive in a computer that only has IDE ports?

I don't have a PCI slot open.

PLease give me a link to where I need to buy this thing from I prefer new egg. I cannot find out how to do this. I know I need some sort of an adapter but I can't find one that will work for me

The Only Thing I can think of would be to put the sata drive into an enclosure to make it into an external usb hard disk
