About the Game

sorry for sounding stupid, but how does this work?
Is it a crack to get the game on steam, or does it run on a completely different server(s).

its the files needed to run the game. You use them via a cracked steam client (search for it. Its on teh forums) or the FS Client which lauches the files. You can play online but only on cracked servers... not Vac ones.

There probably under maintenance so just give it some time. if that does not work you must be using a wrong link (in other words you did not copy and paste correctly) or your web browser is bad.

Go to the first post and use a download link from each section and download it from either megaupload or rapidshare. Once you've done that place the gcfs into your steamapps folder.

i think hes right. my gamestate.txt was overwritten once i closed tf2 but i wasnt aware. ima try it out now to see if it stays.

I downloaded the gcf and installed SMD 2.0. Then i extract it in the steamapps folder but i cant download TF2 at Steam
Steam says that the servers are busy and i must wait.
What can i do ? Please help me...
