How do i install the game files into the folder so steam can download them?

You download one of the patchers and then download the GCFs.
After that, you put GCFs in SteamApps.

I am Kinda pissed right now Steam wont even let me download Demo's and I don't know where the file is that is making Steam think that i have like every game, but it wont let me do anything now and its making me really pissed...



ps. i decided i can't successfully steal, especially when no one has the gfc's for the games i want to play.
