tested working works about that busy servers thing if this is your first time when u installed an steam patch on your computer then u can download the 1st game directly via steam(not joking) but only the 1st for the 2nd 3rd and so on u must use the gcf method also u can infinitely download...

2. if u wanna launch the standalone game direcly from steam just make an shortcut from the game(in steam of course) 1. no u have to resume updating the files

1.u need to put your GCF files to your steamapps folder placed in your steam directory and of course restart steam P.S. donґt extract the files from your gcf files 2 donґt place them in an common folded and then delete what u THINK it's extra just let them how they are
