Am I right?

Hi,

For the past few hours I have been reading on cracking Steam etc.
So, you can't download most GCF's from Steam apart from some, you can download the some using the Undead patch, right?
And, to play a game which you can't download you have to download the GCF manually, then use something like a GCF launcher to play on cracked servers?

Please answer these questions, a cookie for whoever does .

You are right, but just 2 things:
1- "you can download the some using the Undead patch, right?" -> and with others cracked steams too, not only undead.

2- "then use something like a GCF launcher to play on cracked servers?" -> you dont need a launcher, just put the GCFs in the steampps folder of your cracked steam and launch the game throug it.

Ganan explained the second point quite well.

If you put in the GCF files into the steamapps folder, you can simply run it with crack steam.

@Ganan, Are other cracked Steam's better or pretty much the same? But if I launched it from Steam, I would have to play on cracked servers, how do I go on about that?

Cracked Steam is used for playing offline mode and on cracked servers.

Normal untouched Steam is used for legitimate online game play on normal servers.
