Easily Disable Messenger Start > control panel > Administrative tools > services Right click on Messenger, disable.

Deleting.. well.. doesn't really delete the file, but you guys know that, didnt you?

Less time to Start Start > run > msconfig. Tick off the stuff which you don't need/want.

Well, and if tweaked incorrectly, the BIOS can lock you out for a long, long time..
