i have a problem.....

I copied ALL GCF files to x:/program files/steam/steamapps

the problem is that after everything is copied, i go and open up steam and click on "Half Life" and nothing happens. It just says "Purchase Game".


By the way I'm new to this and just joined. any help will be appreciated
