Empire Total War

Hello all,

I have purchased the Empire total war special forces edidtion and had it sent to me here in iraq. to my suprise it requires steam for valedation. I don't have internet on my personel laptop so I cant install the game sense steam cant validate my key. Does anyone know of a way 3rd party installer that I can use to install and play my game?? I have read about the razor installer but cant find just it to download. And whene I try simpack it gives me errors about gcffiles.dat any help would be appreciated.

We have limited internet through 3 internet MWR ( Morale, Welfare, Recreation) on our FOB ( Forward Operating Base) But we are not allowed to install any programs on these computers. So we can get online check email and do small stuff like that. So I can download limited stuff nothing like back in the states. From what I can tell the razor install only is small in size and or the gcffiles.dat that I need is also small in size so I think I would have enough time during one of our normal sessions 30 min to an hour to download such a file.

There are "portable" versions of steam, but they are still fairly big. but it should be a self extracting archive.
