Find your steam ID... Without going ingame!

Well yeah, I can't take credit for this... but I sure can post the bloody thing!

1) Click Start > Run, Then type Regedit
2) Click on "HKEY_CURRENT_USER"
3) Click "Software"
4) Click "Valve"
5) Click "Steam"
6) Click "Users"
7) Then under "Users" there will be numbers. Open your calculator type in the number you see. Then divide by 2. That is your Steam ID.

I found a small .cmd app that does the same, but it gets all your Steam IDs. (I'm fairly sure it works in the same way/similar to Eric's)

I'd assume that when you log back into that account steam would make a new registry key for it.

nothing happens... put simply its saved settings per steam account such as what button shows friends in game etc.
