+ features the following Games: Half-Life 2 Single Player, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source
+ all the latest ripped files (ripped on 07.07.07)
+ including hCUPa's SteamEmu (thanks for this great app, mate!)
+ installer included, which is held in an official way. No 3rd party brandings, just official names. You can choose the destination folder for the games in general and in the starmenu. Shortcuts are automatically created.
+ installer supports 55 languages, after the installation the language of Half-Life 2 is set automatically to english. If you want to change it, use the
+ language changer, which allows you to change the langauge of hl2 and its components to the supported langauges in steam
+ all components (hl2dm, css, dod) are unselectable while un- and installation.

Some users had problems extracing the collection when they used Winrar. Winzip or 7zip just worked fine and Winrar seems to have a problem to recognize the filetype when there's a second dot (4.1) in the file name. So here's a renamer batch file, which converts the names from 4.1vloc2lh**.rar to hl2colh**.rar

This installer will update your installed Half-Life 2. It cannot update the contence of the dvd, but the integration pack can (see below).

This package can be used to update your Half-Life 2 Collection 1.0 (and 1.2) to the latest version. This means that you update the content of the DVD (the DVD itself might not be changeable, because it is a finilized medium, so you might have to copy its contence to your hard drive and create another DVD after including the update files). The result would be an up to date Half-Life 2 Collection with all new files, which will be implemented into the installer providing an installment of the collection with the new version (=all updates).

How to run your own Mods:

I'll show you to run Mods with this collection by using Goldeneye Source as an example:
1. If you download GoldenEye Source you'll receive an installer. Run it.
2. It will automatically select your steamapps\*username*\sourcemods direcotry.
3. If you install it, it will create an direcotry called gesource in your steamapps\*username*\sourcemods folder.
4. This folder (gesource) is the mod folder. We simply copy it into your release folder (if you used the standard directory it would be C:\program files\Half-Life).
5. Make a shortcut of the hl2.exe in the Half-Life Collection folder and add the following parameters: -console -steam -game XXX
6. The XXX stands for the mod folder (in this case we would have to put gesource instead of the XXX, because the mod folder of GoldenEye Source is gesource). Voilа, with this Shortcut you can run your mod!
As a little summary:
1. Copy the mod folder into the direcotory of the Half-Life 2 Collection.
2. Make a shortcut of the hl.exe using the parameter: -console -steam -game *modfolder*
3. Run the mod by using the created shortcut.
How to add cracked servers to your server browser:

1. download the following file: http://css.setti.info/code/masterserver/MasterServers.vdf
2. Copy it to into the folder Platform\config in your Half-Life 2 Collection directory.
3. Overwrite the old file.
4. By launching the game you should see nice cracked servers in the list on which you can join
