How can I apply updates to multiple PC`s but only download them once?

Hi just a quick intro, theres a bunch of us out in Iraq playing CSS over our LAN. We recently were using a hacked version of CSS without steam but we are now trying to play it using Steam client.

Our problem is that our internet is over satellite and therefore very slow and bandwidth throttled.

Is there anywhere we can download updates for steam and CSS onto a mem stick so they can be applied to each individual PC on the network without hogging all the bandwidth.

To copy over CSS updates you need to copy the .gcf files in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\ as for the steam updates idk... you could try copying the whole steam folder and if you are playing over a LAN why are you putting the files onto a mem stick couldn't you just share it over the LAN?
