NCF help...

So I have the SteamUp! Launcher that is available for download on this site. I downloaded this http://freesteam.org/threads/super-meat-boy-19th-may-2011.24280/ NCF for Super Meat boy and placed it everywhere I thought I could place it. (the super meat boy folder, of course) I tried installing it through SteamUp!, I got the servers are busy error. I tried running the .exe in the folder, it just crashed.

So, like, how do I install this correctly using the SteamUp! Launcher...

...no. steamapps folder, not the common folder

lolz, sorry. all goods. Are u sure you put supermeat boy into the common folder and not steamapps?

Tried placing it in the common folder and installing it, still getting the error. :/

Did you check the file I explained? I don't see anything named gcf or ncf in that rar file, I saw a vdf and tried that, but I'm still getting the error. Any ideas what's wrong?

??? WOW this really is a no brainer.
I only just downloaded it earlier this year (Which is why i posted a thanx and all) and dropped the files into steamapps and it worked

First you say you put the ncf in the common folder and now you have no ncf but a vdf file? Far as i know from l4d from 100000 years ago valve uses vdf files for expansions. Double click the vdf or right click open with steam, see if that works.

Alright, sounds good to me. Sorry if I'm causing too much trouble, I just don't get it.
