I have a standalone version of left 4 dead 2 and I wanted to know if I can covert the files to a gcf so i can play it in steam.

I couldn't find anything on this in the forums or anywhere else so I decided to create a new thread.

L4D2 dont use Gcf it use Ncf + a common folder, the standalone that you have is the common folder and you just need to get the Ncf:D
unless that you put a crack replasing the launcher, you must have the original launcher

So I just make a folder called left 4 dead 2 in my common folder and get the ncf and put it in the steamapps folder?

I think so unless that the folder you have isnt the original
