which one?

Shitty computer, build one.

Parts list:
Asus P6T mobo
2-4GB of DDR3 RAM (go OCZ digital for this...)
750GB - 2TB HD (go Maxtor for this...)
Creative sound solution (get the one Echo has)
Any supported i7 CPU (go for extreme (L3 cache is nice))
Uhh... insert some nvidia graphics card here (280/295)
(OPTIONAL) USB controller 4-1 (I have 9 usb devices, doesn't fit on the P6T)
(OPTIONAL) RC to Mini jack cable (plug pc sound into a stereo / speaker system)

idk, it's all personal preferance.
I would build a blade server...

lol need at least 9 gigs of ram and
GTX 280 sli or 260 sli

Not for $2,000 you're not, especially if you want high grade hardware that will last... You want to get DDR3+ECC RAM in actuality, but with the money range you stated in your first post I suggested some DDR sticks, maybe 2x4GB if you need a fair bit. You can use a flash drive as RAM too... under Vista / Windows 7. =_=
