Yahoo has chosen former Autodesk CEO Carol Bartz as its new chief executive, ending its search for Jerry Yang's replacement, according to a Wall Street Journal report this morning. Autodesk, known for its computer-assisted design software, happens to be a longtime Microsoft partner, so the choice may stir new speculation about a possible Yahoo-Microsoft search deal.
