Hey, I'm new to all this, I have steamup v. 2.1.4. i also have the latest version of steam as of December 10, 09. i downloaded a GCF from this link: http://www.freesteam.org/forums/other-steamapps-gcfs/10370-killing-floor-7th-june-2009-a.html the game is killing floor. I downloaded the full GCF and extracted it to my downloads folder, later cutting and pasting it to the steam/steamapps folder. I ran the client and it said: Download Starting...
When i click run, it says that the servers are busy, yadda yadda, try later.
I tried putting the GCF in other folders, like the common and my username folder, and restarted my steam, also no luck. If anyone could help me with this and explain, that would very appreciated. However, if it makes a difference, there was an update released for this game a while back, do i need to download that to?
HOW MUCH WORK DOES IT TAKE TO PLAY KILLING FLOOR! ..sobs quietly in corner..
