garrys mod with the undead patch??

Hey guys I downloaded the latest undead patch and tried to run gmod on an account I have with nothing on it(Already have gmod content btw). Its just a new account but when I try and connect online on the new account with gmod, it just says I don't own this game??? do you know of anyways to solve this problem so i can play on all servers??

Search for a newer Version of the Undead-Patch or try to reinstall Steam.
I got the Undead Patch, too, and it works fine.

how about playing multiplayer games (such as hl2 or gmod)? it says the same thing and i have the newest undead patch

Im having the same problem with the patch. I've had it for quite a while now and I could play my games that i downloaded. Now it doesnt work for reasons unknown. Does anybody know WHY my games dont work even though I could play them before?

can you tell me what u did to get it to work? i have the undead patch, got gmod, hl2, tf2, and i get that error saying i dont own gmod for online or w/e. is there anything else i should download to make it work?

If it fails with undead patch, use SteamUp. Garry's Mod is downloadable with Steam anyways. Try validating it first, should work.

For me all it does is pulls up the loading screen, loads for about two minutes or so and then closes out and says that hl2 was not working?
Can anybody tell me how to fix this???

In steam right click gmod and go into properties. then go into set launch options and put in -dxlevel 81. this means gmod runs in direct x 8.1

The reason why you cant go online with it, is because Legit servers do not accept CRACKED games/steam. You need to install the Setti MasterServer, then you have a list of servers you CAN connect to.
