How to run a TF2 LAN?

Hello, I need your help,

Some friends and I want to play Team Fortress 2 on LAN.

I am the only one who owns the game and a Steam Acc.

So I thought I could take the TF2 GFCs from the Steamapps Folder, hand it out to everyone and start it with a louncher...
But none of the lounchers I found on the internet seem to find my GCF-Files =(

Can anyone give a step-by-step explanation how to solve my problem?

1) File transfer the WHOLE! game file over to your friends computers (easily done with homegroup or other local tranfer program)
2) All have steam accounts
3) Log all people in
4) Start Server
5) Play

This worked when some of my friend came over from Chicago, and we played 2 days straight.
