My Friend is having problems.

My friend recently got Cracked Steam and for some reason he said "when I join a TF2 server it just freezes and doesn't do anything". The reason why he didn't post this is because the site never sent a Confirmation Email. But anyway is there any way to fix his problem?

make sure he is getting on a cracked server by using Setti servers.
sometimes it takes a while for it to load it may have to download files from the server make sure he isn't exiting too quickly.
if he still can't get it to work try redownloading and making sure he had the current version of tf2.

Or possibly (a low chance) he could not meet the system requirements when i play tf2 i lag a lot so i dont play that a lot i stick to garrys mod and counterstrike 1.6
