I can't get it to work and I don't have any form of .exe mentioned in all the earlier posts, I only have the .vdf file, am I missing something?

Ya, I think all of the cracked GMod servers were removed from Setti.

There is a community called .:`=-~rANdOm~`-=:. They run several GMod servers on wirebuild, plainbuild, fretta, trouble in terrorist town (ttt), zombie survival, flood, winter survival, and sledbuild.
All of them are cracked
