Hello. My friend gave me some discs containing a steam backup of MW2 and L4D2. The problem is I don't have the key to extract them. I want to either extract them to GCF of NCF files or the actual game files. I've tried phoenix but that doesn't allow me to extract them to GCF or NCF and when I extract the game files the most of them are 0 kb. I need help.

If your problem is that you need to extact the games but do not have the key then launch cracked steam and try again. Should work perfectly without a key

I have also tried that but it comes up with Servers are currently too busy to handle your request blah blah blah.
