Hello, new guy here

hello, i'm new to this forums and website. Though i really dislike steam, there are features that i like and games that work better with it.
So i'm here asking for help and hope you guys could help me along the way understanding all of this and stuff since when i look around i'm so loss.
So if you could help me along the way, i would really appreciate it and what is a garry mod?

tbh i hated steam when i first got it, only did to play css. But it grew on me, my problem was waiting for it to load and log in when wanting to play, i now find that if i leave it on then its no problem
